Resources

At TCK Connections, we focus on establishing that safety and comfort first. We meet kids where they are in their language ability and cultural familiarity and help them figure out what is going on around them. Set up to feel as much like a regular public school class in terms of scheduling and activities, TCKC gives students a chance to go to scaled-down, safer version of school to practice and get comfortable.

Through subject-based projects and activities, students will engage in meaningful and practical learning experiences but without the pressure of a grade, they can relax and get the full benefits of their time with peers and an attentive teacher.

And it’s that attention by the teacher that matters most. Having a teacher trained in the specific needs of third culture kids create the program and train the staff establishes TCKC on a foundation of sound pedagogy responsive to the unique needs of the students. And with a student teacher ratio designed to enhance small group work and collaboration, the teaching at Third Culture Kids Connection is what will ensure that kids are truly growing, learning, and having so much fun they will want to return for the regular fall program.
