How it Works

Step 1 - Book a discovery and/or intake interview
Please visit this registration form below and fill out all the information there to give Ms. Webb a starting point to prepare for the first session for your child, which will be held at WebbSprout school based out of Ms Webb’s home in Confederation Park. .

Step 2 - The first session
The first 30 minutes of our session together is a complementary discovery session where families and Ms. Webb can get to know each other and ensure that Webbsprout is a good fit for your child's needs.
After this initial conversation, Ms. Webb will conduct a low pressure assessment of the student and get an idea of their needs and personal goals. She will also ask about your family situation, schedule, and budget. The intake session last from 60 to 90 minutes.
The assessment cost $150. This includes your enrollment in WebbSprout programs and your intake administrative costs.

It will also include the creation of a collaborative Google Doc where Ms. Webb will share updates on all sessions and invite parents & teachers to contribute as wanted.
Step 3 - Prepare a program
After the intake session is complete, Ms. Webb will prepare a program suggestion for your child that will involve a mixture of one on one coaching group, cohort sessions, and digital check-ins. Depending on the situation she may request an in-home visit to learn more about the family situation or a school observation and meeting with the teacher to learn more about what is happening there.

Services Offered

In-home assessment

This is an option for families, especially if there are problems that are happening at home or if the routines at home are contributing to problems at school. By observing the students in their home environment and speaking with family members, Ms. Webb can suggest additional strategies that could be implemented at home to improve their overall ability to regulate and be successful in other environments.
In-home assessment cost $40 for each 30-minute incriment of time plus transportation.
School observations & meetings

There are several benefits to observing students in classroom environments and speaking with teachers in formulating a plan for effective intervention. Linking Webbsprout to the school environment can help ensure that students continue to work towards meeting their learning goals in the classroom. Having Ms. Webb attend IEP and other meetings with teachers can help parents advocate for their child's needs and foster a team approach to supporting them in attending their goals.
Cost varies depending on format and role in meeting, and preparation required.

Assessment and diagnosis assistance
Ms. Webb cannot diagnose, but as an educator with 20+ years of experience, she is able to assess and write a report for school or diagnostic professionals with her professional observations about her students. This work requires at least 10 hours in coaching or group sessions before giving any professional opinions on a student. She can also provide advice on the diagnostic process and the different resources available to parents once a diagnosis is received.
Writing IEP recommendations and attending meetings
Through her intensive work with students, Ms.Webb is able to develop recommendations for accommodations that will help the student at school. She can also be hired to advocate for those accommodations at IEP meetings or other opportunities for communication that the parents wish to set up.
Ms.Webb believes in helping the kids develop self-advocacy. The coaching is meant to support the kids being able to speak up for their own needs to teachers and parents in the future.
